This code is the fruit of my anger at the function print. What sometimes annoys me is that no matter how much text it is printing, it prints it all immediatley. The purpose of this program is too simulate someone typing, that is, printing characters but with pauses in between the characters. I know that there is probably a simple function like PAUSE or something that does the same thing, but the thing is- I do not know it! And so, instead, I went and created a 16 FILE PROGRAM! The 16 files are in the zip file. Just unzip them all, and run the one called a.pl. Just type in perl a.pl and (assuming you have Perl installed) it will do what it needs to do and, if all goes well, will print the sentence "Hello, I am Bob" with short pauses between each character.
